The difference between a free man and a slave is that slaves can’t say: NO!
Not all slaves are created equal. Goethe said, “None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." He was right, but it is more complicated. Slavery is a hierarchy that runs from honorable to sad/pathetic/broke back to scum.
Honorable
Free Man – Can say NO! to government, not taxed, inalienable rights, Not a Slave! There are some on this planet who are starting to shrug off their chains. The Mexican town of Cheran kicked out the “government” (and the Cartels!) over a decade ago. Some folks are moving to libertarian communities like Prospera off the coast of Honduras where they have a negotiated sovereignty. There are over 60M not paying their “taxes” in the U.S.
Organized Crime Government – Tax Slave (BUT Resisting!) - Conscious of the reality of the “Gubernare Mente” tax slavery system & Actively Resisting (Protesting, Organizing, Publishing, Trying to Expose the System - No Shame Here… Stand Tall Like a Man!)
Chattel Slave (BUT Resisting!)– Conscious of the illegitimacy of chattel slavery & Resisting (Resisting, Protesting, Organizing, Publishing, Trying to Escape - No Shame Here… Stand Tall Like a Man!)

Organized Crime Government – Tax Slavery –Conscious Government Teacher Understands propaganda and the system and consciously teaches the next generation to be slaves or, even worse, designs the hidden curriculum into the government’s school “system.” Usually, Statist “true believers.”

The FBI was caught trying to entrap Randy Weaver into committing a victimless crime that also violated the clear language of the 2nd Amendment to the Bill Of Rights.
Organized Crime Government – Tax Slavery –Conscious Government Enforcer - Understands Propaganda and the system and consciously enforces tyrannical and unconstitutional laws on their fellow slaves… Modern equivalent of the Jewish or French Nazi collaborators of WW2 or the East German Stasi. The lowest form of slave scum.

Here is the conclusion. My kids, born in Japan to a Japanese mother and Japanese citizens are none the less considered by the US as US citizens who owe tax and information returns to the US and, through FATCA, are having their accounts in banks in the homeland reported to the the homeland of their father, the US.
Anyone living under any government of any kind is a slave.
