I did not vote for the first time in decades in a federal election. So true that no matter how you vote, you are still a government slave. Changing masters never made any slave more free.

Hilariously funny.

Joking aside, voting has two purposes:

1. Keeping morons at bay by giving them false hope;

2. Transferring the responsibility for the politicians' actions to the "voters";

In the meanwhile, those who vote, acknowledge an illegitimate power.

I consider myself a voluntarist in principle but as far as voting goes, at the present time I see no advantage in not voting. I remain active in local politics where I think we still have some pull and by voting for the conservative candidates in the state and National races I show my preferences. By not voting all we’d be doing is showing apathy which is one of Their goals. So go vote but only give it a maximum of 10% of your energy and spend the other 90% promoting freedom, self reliance and voluntarism.

I do understand the logic in voting defensively.. locally.... but only for privaticians to keep you on the right side of morality

The issue with voting is that it divides the house, (Mathew 12:25). Both camps are collectivist in nature, both camps crave illegitimate power over others. In neglecting the order of the real, natural law as expressed in the ten commandments, there are no percentages as to where your principals lie. If as the Declaration of Independence correctly asserts that "All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights", then those who choose to routinely violate those rights (as in let the truth be the authority, and not authority be the truth) are warmongers who covet what their neighbor has. (Their children, their guns, their property, their liberty, their lives etc. and will go to any lengths to obtain that which nature's law prohibits. Those motivated by ambition and avarice (the pride of kings) have laid the whole world in blood and ashes. Nature and nature's god harmonize in purpose, the commandments of men who demand that you are somehow responsible for their opinions is existentially implausible, if you haven't done anything to damage the life, liberty or property of your neighbors.

Two quotes from my favorite Voluntaryist scholar, Robert Higgs:

“If anarchists are idealists, they may simply be likened to someone who finds himself swimming in the cesspool and, rather than paddling about looking for the area with the least amount of floating feces, seeks to climb out of the pool completely. When you are presented with a choice between two evils, do not choose the lesser. Choose the exit.” Robert Higgs

“What makes anyone think that government officials are even trying to protect us? A government is not analogous to a hired security guard. Governments do not come into existence as social service organizations or as private firms seeking to please consumers in a competitive market. Instead, they are born in conquest and nourished by plunder. They are, in short, well-armed gangs intent on organized crime. Yes, rulers have sometimes come to recognize the prudence of protecting the herd they are milking and even of improving its ‘infrastructure’ until the day they decide to slaughter the young bulls, but the idea that government officials seek to promote my interests or yours is little more than propaganda—unless, of course, you happen to belong to the class of privileged tax eaters who give significant support to the government and therefore receive in return a share of the loot.”

― Robert Higgs

I'm looking up, not down at a ballot, waiting for that Blessed Hope. It's not about us anyway, or any utopia of man. It's about being reconciled to God, waiting for the redemption of our body. "When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory."

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. KJB

I will be doing a write in: Viktor Orban for POTUS and Robert Fico for VEEP.

I’m no stranger to doing strange things even if nobody else will do them with me. The way I see it, if I vote for either head of the globalist hydra selected for me, I’ve voluntarily legitimized the process of hijacking our government by the globalists/CIA/Zionists/whomever. If I don’t vote, I’ve failed to express my preferences. So, I’m

voting for two people of whom I generally approve, whether or not their candidacy is even possible.

This isn’t about choosing which pre-constructed pen we want to be herded into. It’s about choosing which leader(s) we actually want. So I will be expressing who I actually want. And pushing the evil karma right back on those who engineered the trap for us on the first place.

The tragicomical part is the "voting" matters, albeit in a weird way. Today might be the last chance to stack up on toilet paper! :)
